As an architect, I experience buildings and cities not just as shapes and forms, but as a visceral textile - an embodiment of a continuous cycle of building, inhabitation, abandonment, renovation, reworking, and rediscovery. The soul of a building is revealed in its guts. The magic of a city is found in its details - its evolving fabric of infrastructure is inhabited by traces and memories of lost parts and pieces.
I strive to capture this magic in design, drawing and photography.
